History That You Do Not Like!

History : like anything worth anything, it is Greek; in etymology, it means that which stands out and is the truth and should never be forgotten.

Türkiye : from Greek Τουρκία ; compare to Turkmenistan, Turkestan, Kirghistan, Tadjikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan or any other statelet of Turanic  origin. The Chinese bear the etymology of the ‘türk’ : ” tû  jué ” meaning : fast barbarian.

As of the twelfth century of the Christian era, the Sunni-Islamised Osmanli invaded Anatolia, the Pont, Cilicia and the rest of Asia Minor, massacring and destroying all the way, as is natural to their kind. Some finally settled in Asia Minor, and copied the Greeks that lived there in most if not in all ways. The best of them called themselves “Rum” i.e. Roman citizen of Constantinople, in other words: Greek! Funny, don’t you think!?

And then a syphilitic, alcoholic, non-Muslim “dönme” who established the new State of ‘Türkiye’ in 1922, stated unequivocally that “there is no greater bliss than to be called a türk“! He obviously had no sense for History.

Today, university professors of ‘Türkiye” claim that ‘being called a türk during the Osmali empire was the equal of being called a … donkey.

Read this, please : “Gazi Üniversitesi öğretim üyesi Prof. Dr. Cemalettin Taşkıran, ‘Osmanlı’da Türk aşağılanırdı. Osmanlı’da Türke ’Eşek Türk’ denirdi.

We can safely add the following : what is it like to be member of a State community, such as ‘Türkiye’, that has no poetry, no music, no literature, no philosophy and no language of its very own? What is it like to live on a land, that is obviously not yours, where every stone you turn speaks Greek ? The Syrians, Lebanese, Jews, Palestinians, Egyptians, Libyans, Tunisians, Spaniards, Portuguese, French and Romans, – the heck! the whole world, including the Chinese in whose language the simple epithet ‘Greek’ means a sage and a philosopher! – feel the greatest pride in their Greek heritage. But the ‘türk’ ?

And the last Anarchist in today’s Athens knows that and wonders…

At least, professor Jamaleddin Tashkiran has the courage to tell the truth as he is a real honest historian! ‘Aferim, professor, doktor!’

We do not know if Prof. Dr. Jamaleddin Tashkiran is still alive .
